The three-hour, 20-minute epic love story - JODHAA AKBAR, which has grossed about a 100 crore now, has been in the news from the day it released across the Nation, moreso for its ban in some parts of various states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, than for its star cast, entertainment, banner, etc. It now looks like it will finally enjoy the fruits after enduring all the bitterness.Earlier, as per the reports, UTV approached the Supreme Court against the order of the Uttar Pradesh Government banning exhibition of the film JODHAA AKBAR. UTV also petitioned that the oral ban order passed by the Haryana and Uttaranchal Government in certain parts of the said states be lifted.
The Supreme Court has today passed an interim order lifting the ban on the exhibition of the film JODHAA AKBAR in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Uttaranchal, and the matter is placed for further hearing on 14th March 2008.

Exhibition of the film can be commenced in Uttar Pradesh and affected areas of Haryana and Uttaranchal immediately.
