Will Smith could do a Bollywood-style film

Hollywood star Will Smith (pictured left) says he could make a Bollywood-style film with "Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle, according to a report on Friday (January 16).

Speaking at the premiere of his new thriller "Seven Pounds", he said he had been "looking at a few things" with the British director, whose film has won four Golden Globe awards and 11 Bafta nominations.

Smith visited Boyle twice while he was filming "Slumdog Millionaire" in India last year, the British director said recently.

Now it appears the project might come to fruition, the Daily Telegraph reported on Friday.

"I am looking at a few things, so hopefully we will make something happen. I spoke to Danny a couple of weeks ago, so I suppose we will have to see if anything comes out of it," Smith said.

Boyle was quoted as saying this week that he wants to return to Mumbai to make another film.

“I'd love to do a thriller there next - the energy is extraordinary,” he told the paper.

Will Smith & Anil Kapoor Talk Bollywood Collab

Will Smith recently chatted with Anil Kapoor about a Bolly-Hollywood collaboration film to star himself, Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. According to a source, "Will has been coming to India every few months and is scouting for actors and places. He already has a script in mind and...has approached a handful of Indian actors. Two of them being Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Anil Kapoor said, "[Will] came to my residence. Very nice chap."

'Slumdog Millionaire' director, Danny Boyle, has also confirmed Will Smith's Bollywood adventures in India, saying, "While we were filming there, Will Smith came over twice. There's a massive coming together of Bollywood and Hollywood. It'll only take one person to bring them together and it will be huge." Looks like that "one person" may just be Will Smith himself, who seems to have been bitten by the Bollywood bug from his singing stint on 'Indian Idol' last year!

Aishwarya to star opposite Will Smith in a new film

It seems like marriage between Bollywood and Hollywood is inevitable. News has it that Bollywoods Bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is reading a Hollywood script that stars none other than comedy star Will Smith.

Although, the beautiful actress is inclined towards the tempting project, she has not given her consent to it yet. Speaking to a news daily, Aishwarya said, There is the possibility of a movie with Will Smith and I am very excited about it because the script is fabulous and no doubt, he is a great actor and is a funny companion to work with.

After starring in interesting Hollywood projects like Mistress of Spices and The Last Legion, Aishwarya is excited about Will Smiths next. Aishwarya admits to reading other scripts from Hollywood also and said that she would leave it to destiny to resolve.

Expressing her gratitude for the international attention she is getting, the actress said, "I consider myself very fortunate to have enjoyed a fantastic support from a widespread section of audience... I am very thankful for that kind of love and support because it has given me the confidence and strength of enjoying myself and explore different genres, be it art, commercial or historical, I have done it all."

Meanwhile, Will Smith, who is a self-confessed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan fan, affirmed that Ash was his first choice to star in 'Hancock' and 'Seven Pounds' too. But, the lady had politely declined both the offers due to prior commitments. Perhaps, this time Will Smith will have his way. The comedy star has expressed his wish to act in a Bollywood movie himself stating that the future of international cinema lies in the marriage of Hollywood and Bollywood.

Grapevine also has it that the gorgeous actress has hiked also her price to a throbbing six crores per movie. The lady has pocketed the enormous sum for her Tamil movie Enthiram opposite Tamil superstar Rajinikanth.

As they say, some people have all the luck.
